Blogging: Your Online Platform to Reach Out to Others

One of the best things that happened on the internet is the introduction of blogging as a form for people to reach out to others regardless of the kind of life they lead. The best blogging platform can provide bloggers an avenue to talk about just anything from technology, to latest news to things like parenting and being a mother.

New bloggers are likely to think that pleasing their audience or their readers is always the end in mind when they sit in front of their computers and write. To some extent this is true, but there is more to the art of blogging than just seeing the number of visitors go up. It is always exciting to see that our dashboard is busy with comments from visitors and our stats counter continue to move. However, there are days that we feel that we are not entertaining enough that we don’t see any comments or that the stats counter feels like its busted.

There will come a time that we would feel like despite our efforts to come up with fresh contents, the comments section will look bare and that the stats counter is not moving. Although this is a horrific idea for most bloggers, we can certainly learn a thing or two from this if we only take things into perspective. We have to understand that there is more to blogging than the daily views we get. That as an art, blogging gives us the freedom to talk about anything without having to worry about an audience to please.

Blogging should be entertaining and this is not something that should stress us out because we no longer get the visitors we want. As with everything else, we can always look up to kids to make us feel inspired about how not to make blogging so complicated.

Kids easily get inspired by the things going around them. They can always go crazy about a certain sport or a hobby, but there will also come a time that they will lose interest with what they’re doing. And so they move on to another activity. This is how blogging should be.

This doesn’t translate to us completely taking for granted our followers or that we should simply forget about writing. It’s more of, we should be passionate about writing and not think too much of writing as a chore. We shouldn’t be looking at blogging basing it on our stats counter as it is an outlet for us to share our voice and our stories to the millions of people around the world.

When we have the best layout from the best blogging platform, we can easily create pages that are appealing to our readers. However, it is still up to us to fill the pages with our stories without having to feel obligated to watch our stats counter.
